For this battery assembly application, FiXar integrated an intelligent manipulator system directly into the customer’s assembly line, enabling automated detection, handling and positioning of critical battery pack components during the production process.
The application was developed to improve ergonomics, reduce manual handling risks and increase process consistency when working with relatively heavy and sensitive battery components. Using integrated detection systems and smart positioning technology, the manipulator automatically identifies the incoming component, picks it from the transport position and presents it in the optimal orientation for the operator.
In addition to improving ergonomics and operator comfort, the solution contributes to higher assembly quality and process reliability by ensuring consistent component positioning and reducing the risk of handling damage throughout the production cycle.
