FiXar developed multiple scanning fixtures for the dimensional inspection and quality verification of Body-in-White (BIW) components within automotive production environments.
The scanning fixtures are designed to position BIW parts in a precise and repeatable orientation, enabling accurate 3D scanning and dimensional analysis of critical geometries, mounting points, and reference surfaces. Depending on the application, the fixtures support periodic quality inspections, prototype validation and production quality control.
Each fixture is engineered according to the specific geometry and inspection requirements of the customer’s BIW components and optimized for integration with optical measurement systems, laser scanners, and automated metrology processes.
